I dipped my toes into the experimental expat lifestyle—spending two weeks working and living in Costa Rica to see how it might feel. With my son set to graduate high school in just two years, I’m starting to explore what it would look like to align my coaching work with a slower, more intentional “blue zone” lifestyle.

My dad used to tell me not to worry about my career or the future. He’d say, “Just stay focused on your purpose, be of service, and life will work out.” It was tough to believe him in my 30s and 40s—but now, in my 50s, I know he was right.

🔥 A special moment in March
I was invited to New York by the brilliant Sheila Marcelo—Inc. Magazine cover star and one of today’s top female founders—for a fireside chat on the value of communication and presence coaching. I also led a mini-workshop on Power and Presence.
It’s been a true honor to coach Sheila, the founder of Care.com and co-founder of Ohai.ai. We first connected over 15 years ago, when she was just beginning to step into the public eye. Sheila devoted years to honing her voice, and today, she’s not only a sought-after public speaker but also leading a new chapter—supporting Chief Household Officers through her work with Ohai.ai

My son turns 16 on April 16—his golden birthday! And what better way to celebrate raising an incredible human than by spending Spring Break together in Paris?
Making memories with the people you love is both precious and priceless—and this trip is one I’ll always treasure.
